WHY LET’S PLAY PADEL?
- Padel is the fastest growing sport globally, and likely to be an Olympic sport in the not-too-distant future. Currently the Padel family grows by 250 000 new members annually and is played in 57 countries. Lionel Messi, the world-renowned footballer, has even upgraded his garden with his own personal Padel court.
- Padel is a social game that is enjoyable and accessible to all people of all ages and abilities. No previous racket experience is necessary. It is perfect for children too, as it is played in a safe, contained environment. And, as the court area is smaller than a tennis court, it is much easier for older players as well.
- In Padel, strategy and Padel tactics count for more than the players strength.
- Although most Padel players are men, it is not surprising that women account for 30%, if you consider that you can burn between 700 and 1000 calories. Padel is a great cardiovascular workout that improves aerobic capacity.
- Free download of the Playtomic app for easy booking of courts.
- Padel rackets for hire – balls to buy.
- We offer professional coaching and advice on the correct racket for your game.
- We have an onsite Accessories shop including caps, towels, racket grips, sun protection, etc.

SO, WHAT IS PADEL?
Padel is a racket sport like tennis but played on a smaller Astro turf court (playing surface of 20mx10m) and surrounded by glass walls. In other words, a combination of squash and tennis and the surrounding glass walls can be used during play as well. You will need a court surface shoe (tennis shoe), comfortable clothes and we have the rest available onsite. Shoes with studs and bumps are not permitted on the Padel court.
